Nick Clegg is to get his own Deputy Prime Minister’s question time, it has been confirmed.
Mr Clegg has been given a monthly 30-minute slot on Tuesday afternoons in the Commons chamber.
His first question time will be held on Tuesday 22 June, with the next on 27 July, according to official business documents.
Prime Minister’s question time will continue to be held on Wednesdays at noon.
Next week Prime Minister David Cameron will face his first despatch box grilling since the Conservatives formed the coalition Government with the Liberal Democrats.
Gordon Brown has stood down, so Mr Cameron will square up to acting Labour leader Harriet Harman until a new leader is elected.
It is not clear who Mr Clegg will face although there has been speculation that it could be shadow leader of the House Rosie Winterton.
