Rob Wilson, Minister for Civil Society, made a statement following the publication of Sir Stuart Etherington’s review, Regulating Fund-Raising for the Future.
Rob Wilson said:
I’d like to thank Sir Stuart Etherington and the all-party review panel for their wide-ranging report. The recommendations represent a new approach to fundraising self-regulation.
Charities need to work together to make sure vulnerable people are protected.
I welcome the report as an important contribution and aim to consider fully before responding shortly.
