The Applicant made one complaint under section 108A of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992, that the union had breached a rule in relation to the Union’s election to the National Executive Council.
Munslow and Fire Brigades Union: 4 and 5 August
The Applicant made 11 complaints under section 108A of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992, that the union had breached rules in relation to disciplinary proceedings and/or in relation to the constitution or proceedings of a decision-making meeting.
Parker and Unite the Union: 9-10 September
The Applicant made three complaints under section 108A of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992, that the union had breached rules in relation to elections at the Bramley branch of the union and the removal of Mr Parker from his post as full time Convenor.
Chandra and University and College Union: 21-25 September
Dr Chandra made an application under section 108A (1) of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 received in September 2022 that the union had breached its rules in relation to disciplinary proceedings. The Assistant Certification Officer informed Dr Chandra, in March 2023, of his view that his complaints were not arguable and the case was closed.
On appeal, the Employment Appeal Tribunal remitted the matter back to the Certification Officer to hear full argument.
Dabrowski & Whitehouse and Communication Workers Union: 20-22 October
The Applicants made two complaints under section 108A of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992, that the union had breached its rules in relation to its 2026 branch elections.
Ali and British Medical Association: 10-11 November
The Applicant has made six complaints, covering disciplinary proceedings by the union and other separate matters under the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992.
