Children’s Minister welcomes merger between Fairbridge and the Prince’s Trust
Tim Loughton sees the merger of the Prince's Trust and Fairbridge as "a positive way forward for voluntary organisations".

Two of the UK’s leading youth organisations - The Prince’s Trust and Fairbridge - are joining forces to form one organisation.

Tim Loughton, Children’s Minister said:

I am delighted that Fairbridge and the Prince’s Trust are joining forces to achieve an even stronger partnership in the youth sector. This should be welcomed by the disadvantaged young people who they help to get back on their feet, gain valuable qualifications, and secure a job or enter training. By working together they will be able to support around 50,000 young people this year, and even more young people in future years. This is a positive way forward for voluntary organisations.
