Creating a military ethos in academies and free schools

There are a variety of ways in which an academy or free school can promote a military ethos including:

• bringing Armed Service leavers in as teachers or mentors through Troops to Teachers
• opening a cadet unit within a school
• using the services of groups like SkillForce and Challenger Troop CIC
