Churches Conservation Trust appointment: Simon Jenkins

The Queen has approved the appointment of Simon Jenkins as a Member of the Churches Conservation Trust for a period of 3 years from 1 January 2016.

Simon Jenkins is an author and journalist, and former chairman of the National Trust. He sees England’s parish churches as the nation’s finest adornment and their future, in whatever situation, as a huge challenge. He believes that communities everywhere need as much help as possible to meet these challenges.
