Knighthood conferred
Justice Hildyard of the High Court given Knighthood.

The Queen has been pleased to approve that the honour of Knighthood be conferred upon Robert Henry Thoroton Hildyard Esquire, QC on his appointment as a Justice of the High Court. 

Notes for Editors

Robert Henry Thoroton Hildyard, 58, was called to the Bar by the Inner Temple in 1977 and took Silk in 1994.  He was appointed Junior Counsel to the Crown (Chancery) in 1992.
