Justice Popplewell of the High Court given Knighthood

The Queen has been pleased to approve that the honour of Knighthood be conferred upon Andrew John Popplewell Esquire, QC on his appointment as a Justice of the High Court. 

Notes for Editors

Andrew John Popplewell, 52, was called to the Bar by the Inner Temple in 1981 and took Silk in 1997.  He was appointed a Recorder in 2002.
