Lord Lieutenant for County Clwyd
Mr Henry George Fetherstonhaugh OBE DL to be appointed Lord Lieutenant for Clwyd.

The Queen has been pleased to appoint Mr Henry George Fetherstonhaugh OBE DL to be appointed Lord Lieutenant for Clwyd following the retirement of Mr Trevor Jones CVO CBE.

Biographical Notes

Henry (Harry) Fetherstonhaugh has a strong agricultural background and is a well known farmer and landowner in North Wales.  He was awarded an OBE in 2001 for services as Forestry Commissioner for Wales.  He was appointed a Deputy Lieutenant to Clwyd in 2008. 

Mr Fetherstonhaugh has been the Honorary Show Director of the Royal Welsh Show since 1994.  He served as Deputy Chair of the Timber Growers Association (TGA) for fifteen years and as Chair of the TGA Welsh Committee for eight years.  He has also been a School Governor for 30 years.

Mr Fetherstonhaugh lives near Abergele with his wife, Davina, and has four sons.
