The Prime Minister's Official Spokesperson answered questions about the deficit.

Deficit

When asked about the deficit, the Prime Minister’s Official Spokesperson (PMOS) said the government was continuing to make difficult decisions but it was right to stick to the long term economic plan. He referred to the Treasury’s documentation on spending reductions as set out in the March Budget.
