Product defect recall alert for four products by Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC

We wish to inform wholesalers that Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC has initiated a Class II recall to wholesaler level with immediate effect for the following products:

• Apovomin 3 mg/ml Solution for Injection for Dogs, Vm50406/4002

• Ophtocycline 10 mg/g eye ointment for dogs, cats and horses, Vm41821/4043

• Revozyn RTU 400 mg/ml suspension for injection for cattle, Vm16849/3000 & Vm16849/5000

• Equipalazone 200 mg/ml Solution for Injection Vm50406/3037 & Vm50406/5042

The reason for the recall is due to an increased risk of microbial contamination in the aseptically manufactured products at the site of the contracted manufacturer, in the period from 01/2024 to 05/2025.

This recall is for following batches:

Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC is contacting wholesalers to examine inventory immediately and quarantine products, subject to this recall.
