The VMD’s online services will be unavailable from 4am on 24 February due to essential site maintenance. We expect that all services will resume by 11pm on 25 February.
The services that will be temporarily unavailable:
- Special Import Service for applicants seeking a Wholesaler Dealer Import Certificate or Research Import Certificate
- Export Certificates
- Animal Adverse Reaction Reporting
- Human Adverse Reaction Reporting
- Microchip Adverse Event Reporting
- Product Information Database
The new digital service for vets applying for a Special Import Certificate (SIC), will remain available during this time. The legacy Special Import Service for obtaining an SIC will be unavailable. We recommend you obtain an import certificate in advance if you think you need to import/use an imported medicine during this period.
Along with access to the following Registers:
- Register of SQP Retailer Premises
- Register of SQPs
- List of Accredited Internet Retailers
- Register of Specific Manufacturing Authorisations – NFABBA, ESCCA, AVA
- Register of Veterinary-only GMP sites
