The NDA Estate Supply Chain Event is jointly organised by the NDA and its Site Licence Companies to promote opportunities for businesses interested supplying into the decommissioning market.
It also provides an informal networking forum designed to foster collaboration and innovation, along with a focus on Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) gaining a better understanding of future developments in the sector.
David Peattie, NDA Chief Executive, will address delegates and presentations from industry experts will also feature as part of the day.
Ron Gorham, the NDAs Head of Supply Chain Optimisation and SME Champion, said:
A strong, dynamic supply chain is critical to the success of the NDAs mission and our annual event continues to be an extremely successful way of building relationships, especially with SMEs, and attracting new suppliers into the industry.
The UK has unrivalled expertise in nuclear decommissioning and our suppliers play a pivotal role in pioneering innovative decommissioning technologies. More than 3,500 businesses currently supply goods and services across the NDA estate - 2,000 of these are SMEs.
