Clinks is the umbrella body for voluntary organisations working with offenders and their families. Clive was the first employee when Clinks was set up in 1997 and has been its Director since it became a charity in 1998. He has campaigned tirelessly on the importance of commissioning the voluntary sector and has continually pressed for improvements in the criminal justice system. This is Clives outgoing year and in this seminar he reflected on the key question posed in Clinks annual review - What if there was no voluntary sector? and offered his thoughts on what the future holds for voluntary organisations and the criminal justice system.
