The Governance Code for Public Appointments sets out the process and principles that should underpin all public appointments made to bodies listed in the Public Appointments Order in Council(pdf, 240 KB).
The Governance Code draws on the recommendations and conclusions of the review of public appointments lead by Sir Gerry Grimstone.
