This is the Commonwealth Scholarship Commissions 63rd annual report to the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs. It was presented to Parliament pursuant to Paragraph 5 (2) of Schedule 2 of the International Development Act 2002.

The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC) provides the UK governments scholarship scheme led by international development objectives. It supports the co-creation of research, innovation, and solutions to enact sustainable development priorities across the Commonwealth and beyond.

The CSCs work advances global sustainable development objectives by supporting innovators and leaders from across the Commonwealth, while attracting outstanding talent to UK universities.

This report demonstrates how the CSC met its aims across the Commonwealth to:

• provide a world-class scholarship scheme that contributes to sustainable development
• ensure programmes promote equity and inclusion, reward merit, and deliver widespread access, especially to those from disadvantaged backgrounds
• support and encourage cutting-edge research, innovation, and knowledge exchange
