The Dormant Assets Act 2022 set out that the government must periodically review the operation of the Dormant Assets Scheme and lay a report before Parliament. The first of these reviews is due to be published by February 2025.

This call for evidence will cover the 3 year period from February 2022 to February 2025 and seeks views on:

• the operation of the Dormant Assets Scheme and the Alternative Scheme
• the steps taken by participants to reunite assets with their owners, including the arrangements made to meet reclaims
• the phased expansion of the Dormant Assets Scheme
