Details

This grant supports the delivery of the governments rough sleeping strategy. It allows local authorities to employ one or more specialist personal advisers to support a small caseload of 5 to 10 care leavers.

Since 2018 to 2019, the Department for Education has provided 11.3m funding to specific local authorities (LAs) across England as a contribution to the cross-government Rough Sleeping Strategy. In 2023 funding of 3.2m annually for 56 LA sites in the financial years 2023 to 2024 and 2024 to 2025 was agreed.

The letter is for Directors of Childrens Services.
