This direction requires the council to continue to co-operate with the commissioner appointed by the Secretary of State for Education.
It follows:
- Ofsteds inspection reportof North East Lincolnshire Council local authority childrens services, published on 26 November 2021, that judged services to be inadequate across all sub judgements
- anindependent reportby Peter Dwyer CBE, the North East Lincolnshire Childrens Services Commissioner at the time
This direction replaces theearlier statutory directionissued to North East Lincolnshire Council on 1 June 2022.
