- alternative provision settings
- special educational needs and disability (SEND) and specialist settings
This guidance does not apply to:
- nannies or au pairs, as they work in the childs or childrens family home
It includes guidance on:
- making an emergency plan
- prioritising education
- supporting staff, children, pupils and students during and following an emergency in your setting
- severe weather
- significant public health incidents
- workforce issues
- insurance
- emergency alerts
- building local partnerships
And providing the following during an emergency:
- remote education (including recording attendance)
- free school meals
- education for vulnerable children and young people
- education for children of critical workers
