This guidance is for School Direct lead schools and initial teacher training (ITT) providers that are referring individuals for SKE courses.

School Direct is a school-led route into ITT. It is run as a partnership between a lead school, other schools and an accredited teacher training provider.
Updated the course directory to remove University of Portsmouth and GITEP SCITT, which are not accepting new applicants.
Updated the course directory to remove AAA Eureka MBITT SKE and the University of Worcester, which are not accepting new applicants. Also removed GITEP SCITT for chemistry, computing, languages and physics. Added the University of Portsmouth's 8-week course in French or Spanish.
Updated the course directory to remove Barr Beacon SCITT, Leicestershire Secondary SCITT, Liverpool Hope University and Lydiate Learning Trust who are no longer offering courses. We have reduced the chemistry and physics courses at University of Worcester to 8 weeks and have removed the computing course at the University of Sussex. GORSE SCITT has been added. URLs for the University of Wolverhampton and Liverpool Hope University, the region for Liverpool Hope University and Yorkshire and Humber Teacher Training, and the course length for North East Learning Trust have all been updated.
