These reports set out the findings and recommendations on childrens social care services in Stoke-on-Trent City Council from the:
- childrens services improvement adviser: November 2024
- commissioner for childrens social care: September 2019
They follow areport by Ofstedin February 2019 that judged the overall effectiveness of the councils childrens services to be inadequate.
The Department for Education (DfE) issued a revised direction to Stoke-on-Trent City Councilalongside the Report into childrens services, Stoke-on-Trent City Council: September 2019. This direction was revoked on 10 February 2025.
