This report evaluates the employer support fund pilots in the academic years:

• 2019 to 2020
• 2020 to 2021

The pilots offered grants of up to 750 to employers to cover the costs of hosting industry placements in preparation for the roll out of T Levels. The aim was to understand:

• the impact of providing the funding on the quality and quantity of placements arranged
• how the funding was used by providers and employers
• the role the funding played in overcoming barriers to providing placements

The pilots ran in the South West and West Midlands in 2019 to 2020 and in the East of England and Yorkshire and Humber in 2020 to 2021.
