This document details what personal data DfE processes about the workforce in local authorities, including social work professionals that have responsibility for social work-related services.

  1. Added sections 9.2 'Using your data when you make a complaint about education providers, childrens social care or DfE' and 9.3 'Using your data when you make a referral of serious teacher misconduct to the TRA'.

  2. Added sections for using data: when a child is looked after by local authorities, when a child is in need, for learner assessments, when we receive a Serious Incident Notification and when you use DfE Sign-In. We have also updated the section 'Using your data when you contact us'.
