This document gives guidance on the appraisal of interventions aimed at active modes.

The previous version of this unit was TAG unit A5-1 active mode appraisal, May 2018. In this version the number of days assumption and absenteeism text has been updated to align with active mode appraisal toolkit.

TAG provides information on the role of transport modelling and appraisal, and how the transport appraisal process supports the development of investment decisions to support a business case.
