Funding amounts for local transport authorities from the Zero Emission Bus Regional Areas (ZEBRA) programmes were allocated in the:

  • second ZEBRA allocation (ZEBRA 2) for financial years 2023 to 2024 and 2024 to 2025
  • first ZEBRA allocation (ZEBRA 1) for financial years 2021 to 2022 and 2022 to 2023

These programmes provided capital funding to local transport authorities to support the introduction of zero emission buses and associated infrastructure.
