Guidance: Adult Social Work Apprenticeship Fund

The Adult Social Work Apprenticeship Fund was a 12 million fund proposed by the previous government. Its purpose was to increase social worker capacity in adult social care through supporting local authorities to create new adult social work apprenticeships.

Following the application round in February 2024, 8 million of the fund has been delivered. The further 4 million committed by the previous government has been suspended.
