You must tell DVLA if youre diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and it affects your ability to drive safely.

If your driving is not affected by OCD, you do not need to tell DVLA. Ask your doctor if youre unsure.

You can be fined up to 1,000 if you do not tell DVLA about OCD that affects your ability to drive safely. You may be prosecuted if youre involved in an accident as a result.

Car or motorcycle licence

Fill in form M1 and send it to DVLA if you need to tell them about your condition. The address is on the form.

Bus, coach or lorry licence

Fill in form M1V and send it to DVLA if you need to tell them about your condition. The address is on the form.
