Guidance: Driver CPC: changes in 2024 and 2025

To be an HGV, bus or coach driver, you usually need a professional driving qualification called the Driver CPC.

In 2023, the government consulted on making changes to DriverCPC.

DriverCPCis not being scrapped, but there will be changes to make it more flexible for people who only drive in the UK. These changes will be introduced in 2024 and 2025.
