A mooring licence allows you to keep your boat at one of these locations operated by the harbour authority:

Admiralty Jetty
Rye Harbour Pontoons
Strand Quay West
Strand Quay Pontoons
Simmons Quay

ReadRye Harbour: passage, pilot and mooring information for boatersto find out which mooring is suitable for your boat.

If youre not sure whether a site is suitable for the boat, contact the harbour master by email atrye.harbour@environment-agency.gov.ukor call 01797 225225.

Youll also need to pay an annual mooring fee.

Before you start

You need to know the:

overall length of your boat in metres
width of your boat (beam)
maximum draught (the approximate depth of the boat below water)
