These open general export licences (OGELs) allow, subject to certain conditions, the export of a wide range of software and source codes for military goods.

This version of the licence is available for registration.

Open general export licence (software and source code for military goods) - from June 2019

This version of the licence will be revoked on 30 December 2022. Exporters should register for the version of the licence above.

These OGELs are subject to reporting requirements under the open licence returns transparency initiative.
