Dr Laurie Bristow CMG has been appointed Her Majestys Ambassador to the Russian Federation in succession to Sir Tim Barrow KCMG LVO MBE, who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment. Dr Bristow will take up his appointment during January 2016.
