Form: Notify the Forestry Commission about a timber import

To land timber, wood products or bark you must give advance notice to a forestry inspector of at least:

  • 4 working hours for air cargo and roll-on-roll-off freight
  • 1 working day for any other case

Notification of landing and import inspection is a statutory requirement. If you fail to comply, you may get a fine, and the clearing of your consignment will be delayed.
