Government Digital Service

September 30
15:20 2024

These identity assurance principles are being used to support the development of GOV.UK One Login.

They were developed independently of the government by a group of representatives from charities, academia and other external stakeholders with an interest in digital identity.

The principles are regularly reviewed by the One Login Inclusion and Privacy Advisory Group (OLIPAG). They were originally developed by the Privacy and Consumer Advisory Group (PCAG).
