Since the Safer Streets Fund launched in 2020, this government has already invested 120 million through four rounds of funding, and a further 5 million through the Safety of Women at Night Fund. Round Five was launched on the 6 July. For the first time, since the Funds inception, we have adopted a direct funding approach. As a result, every police force area across England and Wales has been offered up to 1 million to deliver a range of interventions.
