Policy paper: Minimum wage rates for 2025

The Government has announced National Minimum Wage rates for 2025, including the National Living Wage. The new rates which will come into force from 1 April 2025 are as follows:

18-20 Year Old Rate 10.00 1.40 16.3
16-17 Year Old Rate 7.55 1.15 18.0
Apprentice Rate 7.55 1.15 18.0

This page contains our advice to the Government on the 2025 minimum wage rates and a short report summarising the evidence we used to make our recommendations. Our full annual report will be laid before Parliament and published in the new year.
