This project seeks to improve the way the MMO collaborates with fishing communities through supporting and enabling fisher to fisher engagement. This project uses a range of methodologies to examine the structure of the English fishing industry, the existing organisations facilitating participation, and the financial structures needed to support the participation. A list of recommendations was made in the main report, and structured into a timeline in the roadmap, which describes how the MMO can best support participation for the Regional Fisheries Groups.
