The Leadership Equality and Diversity Fund aims to increase the diversity of the school leadership workforce by supporting teachers who belong to at least one of the protected characteristics from the Equality Act 2010. The funding has been given to lead schools to provide leadership development programmes to increase leadership diversity.

All participants from the 2015 to 2016 programmes were asked to complete an online survey during the summer term 2016. The aim of the survey was to gather participant feedback and identify any areas for development. This provides insight as to how well participants feel the programme has helped them develop their confidence and leadership skills and ultimately to achieve next stage promotions.

Survey findings from the 2016 to 2017 and 2017 to 2018 programmes are also available.
