The OISC has been undergoing a programme of transformation, ensuring it puts the advice seeker at the heart of its work.
In order to do this, and ensure our regulation is flexible and responsive to the changing needs of advice seekers and the wider immigration system, we are consulting on a new version of OISCs Code of Standards.
The new Code aims towards a less prescriptive, more principled-based regulatory approach while maintaining the necessary safeguards to ensure we can take swift, appropriate action against those who undermine the reputation and quality of advice within the immigration sector.
Its really important we hear from you about the new approach and how it will work in practice for you, your organisation and the wider sector, so please do use the time to respond to the amended Code.
The consultation will close on 23 October 2023.
