This report sets out the PRRBs analysis of evidence provided by relevant organisations and makes recommendations on the pay of police officers in England and Wales up to and including the chief superintendent rank. The Government responded to the report in Parliament. The Home Secretary has also written to the Chair of the Police Remuneration Review Body in response to the report.
The PRRB provides independent advice to the Prime Minister and Home Secretary on the pay and allowances of police officers in England, Wales and Northern Ireland up to and including the rank of chief superintendent.
