This document outlines strategic aims for controlling monkeypox, assumptions about monkeypox transmission and biology, and implications for domestic/community, ambulatory care, inpatient healthcare and other residential settings.

This statement has been agreed by the UK public health agencies: UK Health Security Agency, Public Health Scotland, Public Health Wales and Public Health Agency Northern Ireland.
