Rural Payments Agency
Details
The grant is available to arable and horticultural businesses growing, or intending to grow, irrigated food crops, ornamentals or forestry nurseries in England.
You must own the land on which you undertake these activities, or you must have a tenancy agreement in place until 5 years after the project will be completed.
The grant is competitive, so the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) will score your application and award a grant to the highest scoring applications.
Youll need to follow a 2-step application process.
The online checker will open later in April 2023. When it opens, fill in your details to see if youre eligible to apply. You will need:
- information about your business (for example, number of employees and turnover)
- information about the project (for example, the impact the project will have)
- a list of the items youd like to buy for the project
- an estimate of the total cost of the items
Youll get a score based on how well your online application scores against the funding priorities.
If your online application scores highly enough, RPA will invite you to submit a full application for assessment. The success of your application will also depend on the number and value of applications we receive.
