Key stage 1 non-statutory teacher assessment guidance

Details

From the academic year 2023 to 2024, there will be no statutory requirement to carry out end of KS1 teacher assessment. This guidance has been produced to help schools who still wish to use TA frameworks to inform their classroom practice so that they can get the best from them.

The phonics screening in KS1 check remains statutory. For more information, please refer to the separate phonics screening check administration guidance.
