KS2 English reading tests were administered in schools in May 2019. Modified test materials and mark scheme amendments were also provided.

Following comprehensive research into the accessibility and adaptability of the KS2 MLP test papers, we are changing their format from B4 18-point to A4 24-point in 2024. If you wish to familiarise yourself and pupils with this new format, please refer to the 2022 and 2023 modified materials available in the collection of practice materials.

Removed the Modified Large Print (MLP) papers that pupils sat in May 2019, which are no longer suitable as practice materials as the format is due to change for 2024. MLP practice papers for the tests sat in 2022 and 2023 are available in the new format.
