Test results and scaled scores
At 7:30am on Tuesday 5 July, we will publish key stage 2 (KS2) test results. Schools should access the View and download KS2 test results form in the Available Activity section ofthe Primary Assessment Gateway alongside the scaled score conversion tables on GOV.UK.
Schools will be able to view an overall results summary page showing their pupils scaled scores for all subjects and a more detailed results page for each subject showing their pupils raw scores, scaled scores and test outcomes.
Schools will also be able to download their test results in the following formats:
- common transfer file (CTF), containing all test results or all test results with teacher assessment data
- comma-separated values (CSV) file, containing all test results, all test results with teacher assessment data or test results for specific subjects
- results letter, containing all test results or test results for specific subjects
Local authorities and multi-academy trusts will also be able to view and download test results in the same formats available to schools. They can choose to download results for all their schools and academies as either a combined file or by selecting the individual school or academy from a pre-populated list.
Schools with a key stage 3 intake will be able to download results for their incoming year 7 pupils. These schools can enter their unique pupil numbers (UPNs) in the Search for pupils KS2 results form in the Available activity section of the Primary Assessment Gateway.
Test scripts
Almost all test scripts will have been scanned and marked on screen. Schools will be able to view and download copies of their pupils marked test scripts by selecting the test paper score hyperlink. This can be found by selecting the test subject within the View and download KS2 test results form in the Available activity section of the Primary Assessment Gateway.
We will return the few hard copy test scripts that were marked on paper. These scripts will contain the marking annotations, but the total pupil result will only be available on the Primary Assessment Gateway.
Test materials
2022 test papers and mark schemes are available in the practice materials collection.
