Senior Rolls-Royce plc executive Edward Prince has been appointed as Director of Large Corporates & International at UK Export Finance (UKEF).
With a 60 billion remit, UKEF is a ministerial government department operating as the nations export credit agency. Its mission is to ensure no viable export fails from a lack of finance or insurance, doing so sustainably and at no net cost to the taxpayer.
Mr Prince, who joins UKEF in the new year, will oversee the directorate responsible for issuing and underwriting the departments suite of financial products developed to support British exporters of all sizes, so that they can increase their orderbooks and grow.
Edwards remit includes the departments network of 23 overseas Country Heads too, who are based in countries around the world to seek out new trade opportunities for exporters. The appointment also sees him take up the role of Co-Head of Business Group to help drive through ambitious targets set as part of the departments new 2024-2029 Business Plan.

At Rolls-Royce plc, Edward held a number of senior roles during his tenure, including Director - Corporate Finance, Group Treasurer and more recently as the Managing Director and Group Head of Corporate Finance.
Prior to this, Edward also worked with leading banks, such as DBS Bank, Barclays and Goldman Sachs.
