Guidance: Papua New Guinea: tuberculosis test clinics for a UK visa

Youll need to have a tuberculosis (TB) test if youre coming to the UK for 6 months or more and both of the following apply:

  • youve lived in Papua New Guinea or the Solomon Islands for 6 months or more
  • you were living there (or anotherlisted country) within the last 6 months

Youll need aTBtest if youre coming to the UK as:

  • a fianc, fiance or proposed civil partner on afamily visa and youve been away for more than 2 years

  • areturning residentand youve been away for more than 2 years
