Veterans Advisory and Pensions Committees
Veterans are being urged to say what they think about the provision of mental health services for them by taking part in an NHS England survey that closes on March 31 2016.
Jules Eaton, who served in the Royal Air Force and is a member of the London Veterans Advisory and Pensions Committee has said:
Have you, as a veteran or a veterans family member, ever used the mental health services provided by NHS England? If so, now is your chance to tell them what you think.
Our group engages closely with the NHS through the London Armed Forces Health Network and we have learned about just how important this survey is, because the findings will shape the provision of mental health services for veterans over the next 5 years.
This is a really important chance to let the NHS know of your experiences , good or bad, so that it can shape future mental health services to best meet veterans needs, so dont miss your chance to have your say.
Please dont think that your views dont matter, this survey will inform the choices being made about providing veterans mental health services from September this year, so please take part. It is entirely confidential and easy to complete online.
You can take part in the survey here. The deadline for responses is 5pm on 31 March 2016.
