Through commissioning a range of research projects, the VMD seeks to improve understanding of veterinary medicine development and usage in animals, and their interactions on humans and the environment.
This fast-paced and varied role will support the delivery of the VMDs Research & Development (R&D) programme.

33,827 - 36,606 - per annum with Pension Scheme (Pro rata for Part time)

Commencing at 25 days (Pro rata for Part time)
Role
Supporting the Programme Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to provide day-to-day project management to the existing programme and help shape future activities.
The post would suit someone with a natural scientific curiosity with experience of managing projects and an aptitude for finding solutions to issues as they arise.
You will work closely with internal subject matter experts including antimicrobial resistance, anthelmintic resistance, and environmental safety, and coordinate activity with colleagues across a broader range of government organisations and academic partners.
Experience & Qualifications required
Applicants must have a degree in a scientific subject or demonstrable experience in project management or coordination of research projects.
