The king scallop fisheries management plan (FMP) covers stocks in English and Welsh waters.
Defra and the Welsh Government prepared the king scallop FMPin partnership with the Scallop Industry Consultation Group, a collaborative forum that brings together industry, academia, and government regulators and policy makers.
The king scallop FMPhas been prepared and published to meet the requirements set out in the Fisheries Act 2020.
